Yes of course we will be there.
Yes of course the "6for5" deal will be operating.

Yes of course pre-orders are welcome.

However after a successful Claymore a mere 2 weeks ago we may be short of a few things and it looks increasingly likely that my re-supply from the USA will not arrive in time for the weekend- despite my having ordered much of it in mid- July- just after Historicon as it happens.

Therefore any stuff we are out of that is ordered and paid for at Partizan will be sent on to you post free as soon as we have a re-supply.

See you at the George Stephenson Hall at the Newark Showground NG242NY .

All of these special offer packs are in 28mm and are either Sash and Saber Blue Moon or Old Glory Second Edition units Stocks will be limited but will include French and Prussian Seven Years War, British and Continental troops for the AWI and British ,French, Russian and Austrian troops for the Napoleonic Wars. Prices will be very attractive- being from 20-60 % lower than list depending upon the pack and its precise contents.
Once these are gone they are gone so get in early to see the full choice.

Old Glory UK -Shows for the rest of 2017

Old Glory UKPosted by Andy - Old Glory UK 27 Jun, 2017 08:34:10

I thought I'd better bring interested chaps up to speed on Old Glory UK's show
dates for the rest of 2017.
We have 3 more events in the rest of this year.
Next up for us will be Claymore! in Edinburgh of Saturday August 5th at the
Usual venue of Edinburgh College ,Granton Campus West Granton Rd Edinburgh EH51QE.
Always a good event and well worth travelling to.We will have all of our usual show
stock there . Hopefully we will also have some new Blue Moon 15mm releases
in several different ranges. Mad Anthony Wayne, Xulu war and maybe Boxer Rising.

After that there will be The Other Partizan at the George Stephanson Hall, Newark
Showground. on August 20th.
Now the change in venue really has sparked this show up. No more dark dreary Kelham
with miners lamps on your head.! No more tortuous unload with everybody and his
brother getting in the way.
No that is all gone. Now we have a light airy hall where you CAN see your hand in front
of your face and you CAN get your gear in easily. The catering is, by show standards pretty good too.
So yes we shall be there again with all of our usual show stock

Our final show of the Year will be the Derby Worlds at the new venue of Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire- pretty far away from Derby really and to all intents and purposes
a new show. on the 7th and 8th October.
The new venue looks good in the promo video- similar to Newark but perhaps a bit shinier
and after a bit of a false start the new organisers seem to be getting it together.

NOW PLEASE READ THIS. WE ARE ONLY TAKING 15MM and possibly 10mm ranges to this event.
as we have only booked a 12 foot stand due to the high price of stands at an
unproven event.
So we will have with us all the Blue Moon 15mm and all Command Decision WW2
and Modern.and very possibly all of the 10mm Gunpowder ranges.
All other ranges will need to be pre-ordered. as we will not be carrying
25/8mm or 40mm with us at this event.
This restriction ONLY applies to this show

Of course pre-orders are welcome for all 3 shows and as ever the
"6for5" deal will be in operation.

New 28mm from Drabant.

Old Glory UKPosted by Andy - Old Glory UK 14 Jun, 2017 17:04:02
I've received a re-supply from Drabant in Russia including 4 new packs of fantastic additions to the Dark Ages range
The Normans get a new personality- one Ivo Talifer on a reraring horse.
The first pack of a new range of picts is now available.

the photo shows pack D2806 Early Slav Infantry.

A pack of Pecheneg Horse archer has also been added.
The eagle eyed amongst you may search in vain for a 4th new code but there isn't one !
The 4th pack is a complete new set of 4 figures for code A2802 Saxon Fyrd. These completely new models replace the old rather static set
check out the range

for the Normans
The whole Drabant 28 mm range now stands at 33 different packs of high quality miniatures.

NEW from Raven Banner Games

Old Glory UKPosted by Andy - Old Glory UK 01 Jun, 2017 17:14:46
Some excellent NEW 28mm ACW models from Raven Banner Games have been added to the site I had some of the new US infanry in Greatcoats at Salute but sold out withing the first 2 hours and have only recently got them back in stock.
The Rave Banner ACW range now stands at 3 different vignette packs plus 8 different Infantry packs. A good beginning and a fine range.

Durham Wargames Group show.

Old Glory UKPosted by Andy - Old Glory UK 24 May, 2017 14:06:57
Now regular readers will know that"officially" Old Glory UK don't go to this show .However equally I have been going to it for the past 6 or seven years with my Wargames Group and putting on demo games . This year is no exception.
The game this year will be a 40mm Wars of the Roses encounter with the majority of the figures coming from the Romanoff miniatures Wars of the Roses and Late Medieval range

As always you can order stuff to pick up at the show- save yourself a few quid on postage- Simply email me direct on

and I'll sort it out and let you know prices and so forth.

So this is where we will be on June 10th . It should ,as always, be a good fun day.
